At 2007 my family broke up, I did not want it to, but it didn't help. I become very sad, my 2 kids were with their mother and I was alone.
Photography always was a hobby for me, taking pictures of my friends, when travel, my kids, the usual stuff, never took it seriously, just read a book or two about technical aspects of photography and about composition.
Being alone I had time to go more into photography. Bought myself a new camera, and went out for shooting just for fun. Took pictures of birds, macro, and very quickly I found myself going out to shot birds at the park and come back with pictures of peoples, in situations... I didn't know there is genre called "street photography" didn't know about the "rules" of SP. I was using 100-400 lens (the birds, remember). At that time I upload my pictures to an Israeli site and people told me that I have very good SP pictures. What to hell is street photography? I went to the internet to learn more about this animal. Learned that: Street photography is a genre of photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places. Now I am all in to it, spending most of my spare time it the streets, looking for the candid situations and enjoy it very much!!
